Easy Grilled Chicken Marinade

Here is the easiest chicken marinade recipe ever! It only requires 2 ingredients and a few hours in the refrigerator to marinate. So delicious.... so simple! Low fat and tasty, too. Bring on grilling season, I say!

Marinade:

1 bottle Wishbone Italian Salad Dressing

1 cup soy sauce

Directions:

Take 1-2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast. Trim excess fat and slice into 2-inch wide strips. Place in 13 x 8 inch glass pyrex dish and pour marinade over top, covering completely. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Pre-heat grill to medium heat (350 degrees). Place the strips directly on the grilling surface. There is no need to skewer them, unless you desire. Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

This marinade is also excellent for boneless pork chops. Just follow the same directions as above. Be sure to cook the meat to an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F, using a meat thermometer.

Marinated Grilled Chicken can be Used in Other Recipes

This chicken is terrific as a main course, served with corn on the cob, fruit salad, and toasted french bread. We also enjoy it over salad greens. No need to buy frozen chicken strips when this is a much fresher, tastier alternative!

My sister uses leftover marinated grilled chicken on pizza or tossed with pasta. You can even shred it into vegetable soup to add protein and heartiness.

During the "grilling" months, we make this recipe at least once a week. But we do make it year round. You can make it in the oven, as well as the grill. Simply heat the oven to 375 degrees F and place the strips of chicken on a broiling pan. Turn once after 4 minutes and complete cooking after an additional 3-4 minutes. Be sure to test internal temperature before removing.

Its easy to double or triple this marinade chicken recipe for parties, 4th of July, picnics, you name it! Leftovers are delicious enjoyed cold, too!

Nice and simple way to grill

------------

Chicken with Coke

Chicken Wings, 1 cup of coke, 1 cup of soy sauce, 1 cup of oil

The size of cup depends on the amount of chicken wings. Cook them altogether for about half an hour. No need to stir, just put everything together and cook. You can replace the coke with wine if you want.
