Relax at Spa W in Bend, Oregon
74Spa W: An Excellent Day Spa in Bend, Oregon
My favorite day spa in Bend, Oregon is the first one I ever visited. Years before we moved from Seattle, Washington to Central Oregon, my mother-in-law treated me to a 1/2 day at Spa W. When we emerged from the facility 4 hours later, we were new women!
Now that we live in Bend, I keep going back to Spa W for facials, pedicures and massages. I've tried several other day spas, and they are pleasant enough. But my loyalty remains with Spa W!
Competitive prices, a convenient location and soft, subtle, plush décor top the list for reasons I'm a loyal customer. Of course, high quality estheticians and friendly staff help make the experience top notch. Whether you live in Bend, or are just visiting on vacation, you'll want to make the call to Spa W for a little pampering. There's a reason they call it "Bend's Ultimate Day Spa."
When I say convenient location, I mean just that! Spa W is right off the main exit to Mt. Bachelor from Highway 97. Follow Colorado Avenue about 1 mile and there it is on your right hand side! You cannot miss the gorgeous landscaping and cheery flowers.
Services Offered at Spa W
While drop-ins may be accommodated, your best bet is to make an appointment at Spa W. Arrive at least 20 minutes prior so that you can change into their plush robes and relax in the steam room. Sip flavored waters or herbal tea while enjoying the hushed atmosphere.
Massage: The essence of any day spa - the massage! Classic Swedish massage, hot stone massage, pre-natal massage and deep tissue massage (my personal favorite) are all available at Spa W. Choose 30, 60 or 90 minutes of bliss! Prices start at $60. Includes a paraffin dip for your feet.
Facials: Spa W offers 9 different types of facials, including services for men. My favorite treatments are the "Time to Shine" facial, for skin needing a boost due to stress or travel, and the Microdermabrasion facial. Express facials are also a quick way to get an extra glow from the High Desert! Prices for services start at $25 for a "bright eyes" treatment. Facials include a paraffin dip for your hands.
Body Treatments: A variety of salt scrubs, mud body masks, and a lovely, indulgent heated linen wrap are among the offerings at Spa W. Rinse off afterward in the 6-head Vichy shower, which is part of the unforgettable experience. Prices start at $60.
Waxing: A full range of body waxing/hair removal services are offered. From eyebrows to legs and everything in between! Waxing services start at $19.
Hands and Feet: Classic manicures and pedicures are available - even for men! Just select how long you want to be pampered, and whether you want that indulgent paraffin dip. Occasionally, Spa W will run a special, which is well-worth the online email newsletter. Last year, we had a cocoa puff pedicure that included lightly fragrant foot cream and a cocoa-based cocktail. Wow!!
Make-up Application: Mineral-based makeup can be expertly applied after other services. You can emerge from Spa W ready to head to your next appointment, or out on the town for some fun!
Packages: What a perfect gift! For the holiday season, Mother's Day, as a thank you gift, or just because (husbands... hint, hint!) Everyone will appreciate a gift certificate for one of Spa W's amazing treatments, or for a 1/2 or full day of pampering.

What Makes Spa W the Perfect Place to Relax?
Spa W has been voted as one of the "Best in Central Oregon," for day spas every year over the past decade. Since it opened in 1988, clients have come to expect a consistent, high quality spa experience.
Trust a local - although I don't splurge often on spa treatments, when I do go, I expect the best.
I know I'll get that at Spa W!
Next time you visit Bend, make time for a little pampering. Perhaps a massage after skiing one day? A facial before you head out to dinner at one of the excellent restaurants here in Central Oregon?
Enjoy!
